Moonriver Sunset View Cottage and Le Shed Garden Cottage

Awesome location!

Best experience we’ve ever had. My husband and I went with our 2 dogs. It was absolutely amazing. Chris and Aneryne are 2 of the best people you’ll ever meet, they were very kind, friendly and helpful. The cottage was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. The cottage is surrounded by such beautiful scenery and located close to many excursions and activities. Honestly the best holiday I have ever been on in my entire life. There are animals on the property, so it’s great for people with kids too.

Moonriver is a simply lovely cottage on a wonderful property with even more amazing hosts. We felt immediately at home and really enjoyed our stay. The scenery, the animals, the vibe - it's tough to say which was our favorite but it was all perfect.

Stunning western view of the Knysna lagoon from the bedroom. Short walk to a view of the Knysna heads. The host, Aneryne, was wonderfully hospitable. She greeted us at the door, gave us loads of great walking and restaurant recommendations. She attentive, proactive and warm. The home was beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed the local coffee table books. The space was easy going, comfortable and freeing. We felt completely at ease allowing our well trained dog to roam the area. 11/10.

The location is safe with amazing views and great place for kids. The farm and the warmth of the owners is what makes this place special.

Please carry soap and essentials as this place does not provide soap/body wash as a default option. However the owner was courteous enough to provide us one as we did not carry.

The location is very special like a small farm. Our host was very nice and helpful - we enjoyed playing with the dogs and had a great time sitting at the fireplace.
