I was unaware of the security deposit until after completion of booking, although released, it took six days. Usually avoid this type of criteria, £250 for two mature adults for two days is pretty high, more than the cost of the stay. Having said that, can't fault the property

Beautiful real home - the rooms are huge with elegant high ceilings. All the furniture and fittings are chic and high quality.

A suggestion for light sleepers - choose one of the rear bedrooms as the road is quite noisy. All the rooms are spacious & the double glazing cuts the noise down to negligible.

Although, from the front, the property looks like 'just' a terraced house on a main road in Buxton - it is, inside, more like a Tardis! A lovely, large house decorated in a comfortable 'shabby chic' style. A good size lounge, with good lighting and a great TV. The kitchen is well-equipped, with plenty of utensils, plates, cups, glasses, etc. A handy downstairs loo & shower, just off the Utility Room. All the (4) bedrooms were excellent sizes, with very comfortable beds; and a lovely bathroom on the first floor. The property is about 10 minutes walk to anywhere in the centre of Buxton. We were 4 guys staying there for a golf weekend and the property was ideal and much better value for money than staying in a hotel. The hosts were in a regular contact on the run up to our stay to make sure we had all the information we needed. We would certainly recommend this property.

A wonderful home in the centre of Buxton. Very well thought layout and exceptional furnishings and decor. It really was a lovely home and so close to the main attractions in Buxton that we walked to them.

I found the hosts, James and Bethan, very easy to deal with in the weeks and days leading up to our stay and very flexible when I enquired about the possibility of 2 extra guests staying for the second of our 2-night stay. Would highly recommend.

Great property for a large family.

Very central to Buxton which is fantastic but the pay off is the busy road. It didn’t spoil our stay though.
