"Comfortable house in good neighbourhood, close to university and countryside."

Comfortable house in a quiet neighbourhood. Brilliant to have access to washer + dryer after working away for a week. Owner was very helpful in assisting with a short notice check in.
One mattress (in small room) was very uncomfortable.

The location was ideal for our trip. It was in a quiet area that felt safe. Check in and check out was easy.
The shower didn’t work, water was either scalding hot or freezing cold. The beds weren’t very comfortable because we could feel the springs in the mattresses. It was clean overall but not attention to detail clean, there were areas of the house that had been missed in places.

Really good communication ,15 mins walk for Waitrose and a couple of decent pubs,home from home really.Large open space near for walking/ cycling.
A little secluded for 3 working men used to plenty of options. We dealt with it and it was fine. We stayed for two weeks.

I want to emphasize that the property is lovely, and we enjoyed the quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The space was adequate for the four of us, and the kitchen had everything we needed. In fact, property has many amenities not in the listing. Provided welcome chips and snacks. The property manager is very nice and communication was good.
We found the beds quite uncomfortable but this can be subjective and is the main negative leading the the review. They were soft or old in our opinion. The listing description was somewhat misleading regarding the bathrooms(actually 1 full and 1 half), and there were minor cleanliness issues with spiders and dead bugs smashed on the walls. Not an infestation but unsightly. We would have appreciated clearer instructions about the property. Lastely, checkin and out policy should be more flexible. We requested later checkout in advance to stay but it wasn't possible with the cleaning schedule.
