The Pear Tree Inn

The Suite was a tiny home really, beautifully decorated and furnished. A log burner, wooden beamed cottage, comfy sofa, beautiful copper bath, a big waterfall shower and a lovely bed. It was very romantic. The breakfast was delicious too.

We wanted a country setting and it was advertised as a garden view, but there was no garden and no "view" as we were on the main road running through the village. There was no " room service" as the Suite was a semi detached cottage about 2 minutes walk from the Pub that rent out the rooms. Although the cottage were beautifully furnished with high quality and high valued items, I didn't think it warranted the £320 price, as there were no " services" and I had to go and collect some crockery and cutlery myself, as the Staff were not insured to cross the Road !!!

Very clean. Excellent technology. Loved the Dyson hairdryer with all the attachments as I need a diffuser. Copper bath in the bedroom was luxurious. We loved the wood burner in the sitting area. Very romantic.

Nothing that didn’t exceed our expectations.

The room was spotless, comfortable and beautifully appointed. The shower was amazing and the tea and coffee making offering was top-end. Added to all of this was an excellent breakfast! Loved it all and will be back!

Quiet village, plenty of parking available, walking distance to the pub, room was super clean, comfortable and had everything you need for stay. Lot of luxury touches and dog friendly

We didn't stay for longer

The room and food were superb and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Newly built/refurbished to a very high standard. Very comfy beds with hand made mattresses. Felt extremely relaxed and comfortable in the surroundings. Even had tables and chairs to sit out in the small garden area outside the room. Loved that the milk for the coffee machine or tea was fresh in a mini bottle rather than the long life pods you often get. Plenty of choice for the mini bar and decent bottle sizes of drinks. Eco friendly products. Nothing was too much trouble and owners were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was included and was fresh and top quality ingredients used. Food over at The Bull Pub was first class. A definite for any visit.

Room could get quite warm and fan was too noisy to keep on at night.
