La Teja del Jerte

Superb house in a little village very quiet and peaceful. The house has everything you would need for a few nights rest. Park outside the front door no problem. The village shop is pretty basic so don't arrive expecting to do a grocery shop. Bakery is excellent but closes every day at 1pm.

There was nothing bad to say about the house. Just don't come expecting any night life you will be disappointed.

Spacious. Very clean. Well furnished. Friendly host. Quiet location . Good shower. Comfortable beds.

Apartment door lock a bit difficult to lock/open. No kettle. Remote location (no bars or restaurants).

Lots of space in the apartment. Tranquility in the small village.

Very comfortable, clean, tidy 1st floor* apartment in nice quiet little village of only 400 people. Parking right outside the front door, handy local shop, restaurants and bar all just 2 mins walk away. Very helpful owner with local info. Excellent communication with fast response to messages. Gracias por todo Sandra! *There's also a ground floor apartment but that's not the one I stayed in.

Wifi was only the open network for the local area. Worked fine for streaming etc in living room on my laptop but kept dropping out in bedroom on my phone. Probably not suitable for work if you need a secure network. If they installed private wifi in the apartment I'd give a 10/10 rating so that's the only reason I dropped to 9. I liked the village and for me was a handy location about half way between Santander and Costa del Sol but if you want city life this probably isn't for you...
