La Tana del Polpo

The appartment is very nice, it has a balcony from where you can see the ocean. The toilet and shower are separated by a door from the sink. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedroom is big. The appartment is located a short walk from the beach and the train station, however it is a bit of a longer walk to the old part of town. We had a couple issues when we arrived but the host was very responsive and the issues were solved quickly.

As many reviews state, the appartment is located right by the train tracks and the trains run the whole night. If you are sensitive to noise then you should absolutely not stay in this appartment. We were there in July and it was very very hot in the appartment with only one fan and since the trains are so loud you couldnt open the windows. This place would definitely need AC for summer.

Unfortunately, it is located on the railway track, and the trains are incredibly noisy and do not stop during the night- expect trains from 2:00- 6:00 am. Would be great to have a second fan for 3+ people

- Very close to the beach and not too bad an incline to get to - Comes with cool stuff like snorkelling goggles, olive oil, seasoning, beach mat, parasol (all really thoughtful) - Felt very at home with full kitchen including fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery so you don’t have to eat every meal out at a restaurant - Very comfy sofa bed - Nice views from balcony

- Just be aware the train tracks run RIGHT outside the property and they run until very late and are loud… so if you stay here just be prepared for that - Did get a little hot without AC but totally manageable with fan

Location. It was easy to get around to attractions, stores, restaurants, the beach. The place was nicely decorated with a beautiful balcony facing the sea and hills. It was easy to collect the keys. Loved the blackout shutters and beds.

The train would come by every now and then at night. The shower heat only lasts about 10 mins before it starts to get cold. There are helpful items in the kitchen for eating and cooking, but cooking utensils are missing. So while there were pots and pans, we had to use the spoons and forks to cook. But rely the pkace was great value for price. Just some small adjustments would make it perfect!

We liked the location, cleanliness, attention of the staff and the style of the house. Of course, we loved the balcony and the view.

The bed... the bed was sunk in too much and it wasn't very comfortable.
