HomeSmart: Cozy Charm Meets High-Tech in Prime Area

Basement apartment in north Ballard (Sunset Hill/Loyal Heights) in quiet residential area. Apartment had a large main bedroom and large full bath with great shower and full sized laundry. The unit has a full kitchen and some utensils and things. The owners provide plenty of items - paper towels and toilet paper, shampoo and body wash, linens and towels. The unit has a mini split HVAC blowing cold air in summer with separate controls for main living area and the bedroom. Parking on the street is a breeze.

Air conditioning was amazing. The bathroom was newly remodeled and clean. The kitchen appliances were wonderful to use. Even an airfryer! Loved the location, felt safe, great bus route.

Coffee was instant rather than coffee grounds for the coffee maker.

It was clean and it was roomy.

The vagueness of the description led me to believe we were receiving the whole home. You get the basement. It’s the basement of the home.

It was clean and nicely updated and the bed was comfortable The location was great as we needed to stay in Ballard. Neighborhood is nice and it was quiet.

Only real complaint, and its a small one, was we were under the impression there was "onsight parking" which implied you got to park in the driveway. The picture of the empty driveway also makes you think this. We ended up parking on the street which is a little narrow but we were able to park in front of the property which was good.
