Owner calls this their budget room. We opened the oven to find a dirty oven tray that had not been washed by the previous occupiers or the cleaners. Under one of the sofas (which are not the sofas in the listing picture) we found someone’s leftover Burger King takeaway meal. Opened the top drawer of a bedside table to find empty crisp packs. The bathroom floor and wall tiles need to be extensively cleaned, the gouting is stained with god knows what. Raised issues with owners and all he was interested in was deducting £20 from the cleaner when he saw her the next day. When followed up with owner he stated that the crisp packs and the Burger King bag were not there before our visit. Issues raised with owners after we left due to suffering from serious infections that required 2 types of antibiotics and being off work for the rest of the week. Explained to owner that we were not interested in getting money back and were insulted by being offered the money he would be deducting from the cleaner. The owners need to deep clean this property. The owners have other properties that they rate higher than this apartment and in our view spend more time preparing and cleaning those apartments than this one. We would have been better off going to a Premier Inn.
