RoadHouse - Petra

The location, up on a hill very close to the visitors center. Good size room with comfortable beds. We really enjoyed the typical jordanian breakfast and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Great value for money

The bathroom was very basic and could have been a bit bigger. But it was ok. The nice breakfast with the view and location so close to the main entrance made it a great one night stop to explore Petra

Firstly, the location of the hotel is the best. Overlooking the Wadi Musa village and Petra mountains, it’s just 5-6 minutes walk to the visitor Centre. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with all necessary amenities, clean bathroom and hot water. The hotel also has a small terrace garden, where you can have a breakfast in the morning or just sit and enjoy the views and quiet in the evening. And lastly, Bilal, the host is the best! He is very friendly and helpful, making sure you get the best experience and local spirit out of your stay! On a funny note, the Wi-fi password (in Eng) was the same as my arm tattoo (in Arabic) making me feel at home from the very first moment, thus my review can be a bit subjective 😆

Perfect place to stay in Petra! The hotel has a perfect location, overlooking the mountains and walking distance (5mins) to the entrance of Petra. The hotel room was spotless clean, very comfortable beds and toilet, plenty of space to put luggage, and very comfortable toilet with hot water. The hotel is on a very quiet street and there's space to park the car right in front of the hotel. Everything was spotless clean! But the thing that made our space the most memorable is the owner, Bilal, who was the most hospitable and kind host. We had the best stay in all of Jordan with Bilal. The breakfast was perfect, with a lot of variety and everything was freshly made for us. We also had vegetarian dinner at the hotel which couldn't have been more delicious, cooked in pottery and great portions. Highly recommend this place, we hope to stay again with Bilal when we come back to Jordan.

Hotel was comfortable and it had a nice view overlooking the entrance to Petra. The owner Bilal is very kind and he was accommodating to our request even some last minute dinner request. Rooms are clean and comfortable! The walk to the Petra is down a steep hill about 7-10 minutes so otw back after a long day of walking it was exhausting to hike up the hill again. The taxi’s in town charge 5JOD just to go up the hill.

The hot water shower is either scalding hot or freezing cold. Taking a shower was an adventure in itself!

Mr. Belal, the owner is very tentative in accommodating our request. His advise on how to complete Petra in a day was very valueable, he arranged a taxi taking us from the hotel to the Little Petra (cost JOD 20). He advised us on the details of the back road to the Monestary. Bfast can be arrange at the RoadHouse restaurant, cost JOD 4 per person. It is a simple Jordanian breakfast, and well presented.
