Kemi House Hoi An

The rooms were nice and comfortable, they also have a small but nice pool. The hotel is in a very good spot close to all the main attractions and the night market but away from all the noise. We had to wake up very early both mornings so we didn't try the breakfast but the lady was so sweet and accommodating with us and the last day she even gave us something to take with us to eat on our way to the airport. They also have a laundry service.

We booked two communicating bedrooms but only one of them had an actual window.

Close to the center but also quiet. Nice host.

Très bien situé et très propre. En plus la piscine est fraîche, c’est très agréable

엄청 깨끗하네요 할머님이 맞이해주셨는데 친절하셨구요 밤 비행기라 잠깐 짐 맡기고 씻고 쉬기에 넘 완벽했어요~ 다음엔 몇일 숙박을 하고싶네요^^

무거운 캐리어를 들고 계단오르는건 쉽지 않더라구요 ㅎㅎ

we have been to vietnam and hoi an at least 10 times but haven't stayed in the old town area in quite a few years. the location is fantastic. the attention to detail in the room was wonderful. great design touches eg original legs and tops of furniture were removed and replaced with more aesthetically pleasing pieces. they added a door to the shelf unit to conceal the fridge and it is vented to allow the fridge to stay cooler. balcony doors and windows were of european quality (makes a huge difference for keeping the cool air in/hot air out - in the middle of the day, we left the room with the ac turned off and when we returned over 4 hours later, the room still felt cool!). there are chairs on the small balcony and a ledge attached to the railing so you have somewhere to put your cup/phone/whatever. reading lights next to the beds. good sized bathroom. lots of outlets. i could go on and on! we arrived before checkin time and the room was not ready, so we left for a few hours. when we got back, they had already placed our luggage in the room so we didn't have to lug it up the stairs. assistance with our luggage when we checked out. we were very happy in this room (twin) and so happy we chose to stay at kemi house. very nice and helpful family. bicycle issue was quickly remedied. bonus: hi restaurant, which we visit every time we are in hoi an, is very close, very cheap, and very delicious. thank you so much and see you again soon!

while it was great to have the indoor pool (which means the water was nice and cool!) upon getting out there wasn't anywhere to sit comfortably (and certainly nowhere to lie/lounge around) so you have to stand and drip a bit before going back up to your room. that being said, we would definitely stay here again.
