This is a very calm and nice place. These family members are also very friendly and they gave us good service. They treated us very well. The place is very clean and neat. They have supplied all required things also. We were very satisfied and this place is highly recommended to others also.

I like the property,calm and peaceful place,away from the traffic and crowds, I could sleep very well without hearing horn or pollution noises…the owners are really well mannered and respectful, From the Airport I took a auto to the nearest bus station,and get into the bus to Colombo,from Colombo another bus the bus number is 120 goes to the exact location area. I was alone and not much luggage so I decided to explore local bus journeys,but also tuktuk and Taxi,available it’s take almost less then two hours from the Airport.i was downloaded Pickme application for the transportation,cheap and efficient. Thanks a lot for everything 💝

The peace and space

I had an amazing experience at Asanka & family’s homestay!, they made me feel like an old friend visiting from out of town. I so much appreciated allowing me to arrive earlier & rest from my flights, I was exhausted and seeing the comfortable bed and quiet room was idyllic. The location was important (10 min walk from Transport department for IDP) and ability to seek local knowledge is always appreciated. All the family spoke excellent English and I enjoyed trading words with the kids, it was also a short distance to the Highway Bus. I shared a little space in the fridge which allowed me the luxury of a few foods that I often crave when travelling, it was lovely to share a meal also with the family and observe in the preparation.

I always like the ability to dim lights but a simple cloth or towel works to the same effect, I travel with a sink plug but I always appreciate when one is available for when I shave in the mornings.
