"Low pricing in app, private host wanted to cancel confirmed booking"

Staff assisted us after my family and I offered additional payment.

The private host wanted me to cancel my booking on the same date of my check-in! Initially he said the room is no longer available since long time ago. He also stated that amount posted in booking.com is too low cost. I feel it is about the cost of room price posted on booking.com that is why he wanted me to cancel my booking on the same date!!! He did not bother to inform me ahead of time so I can look for another place. It was only resolved when I myself offered additional payment. Yes, I paid extra! When we got in the room, it was pretty decent only the CR has hair strands on the floor.
