We were a family with young kids. The converted train and truck were super confortable. Toys for the kids. Wide collection of dvds. Visiting the farm and feeding the animals was an awesome plus! So clean.

The place is 'wacky' as advertised. Unique. A great place to stay for a couple of nights. Not far from Kiakoura but a car is essential. We stayed in the converted train carriage. More expensive than the normal overnight stays but it's worth paying the extra for the wacky nature of the property. Loads to do in the locality.

The smaller bedroom in the train carriage is really only suitable for children. Luckily I'm only 5 foot tall so it wasn't a problem.

"Kitchy and good but just a couple of things missing"

Great to have whole cottage. Dog and kid tolerance great.

Tv didn’t work.Had to clean greasy frypan before using and had rounded bottom so not working on flat elements. No salt and pepper or matches to light fire. ( although great once going) just all A but tired. No dish cloth!!!
