Location for Soho Farmhouse was perfect

Great views across fields and beyond, spacious, kitchen well provided for, garden was great and well cared for. Property tastefully decorated and wood was put out for the fire.

Although technically the property can sleep ten, four people would need to sleep in two double beds in the same room. Really it sleeps eight. They have a problem with an oil smell in the kitchen when the heating is on. Likely from the heating oil tank which is located inexpertly outside - possibly a leak. The owner’s response on this was to blame guests for putting fat into the sink. The smell doesn’t spoil the experience but for the price you would expect the issue to be acknowledged and addressed.

Much more spacious than it looks , especially the kitchen and garden. Fab that it backed onto fields with great views. Great tables / beds : garden toys - enough of everything and lots of storage space. Nicer than the photos !

Only that the road was quite noisy - we are used to living in the countryside and with windows open on a hot night the noise of the traffic disturbed us Less so those of us who live in London.
