Charming two-level retreat in Capitol Hill - Foxglove Inn

The room itself is extraordinarily comfortable and well-appointed. Despite being in a busy urban location, the property was quiet and peaceful. The whole vibe of the place was relaxing and welcoming. The location was also perfect for our needs--directly between the light rail stop and the residence of the people we were in town to visit.

There was a little bit of unrepaired damage (the tv, one towel bar) which should probably be addressed, but which did not at all affect our enjoyment of the property.

Location and privacy of a separate dwelling

The retreat is very cute and cozy. Lots of warm wood and a very comfortable bed. A great space for a solo getaway or (a very close) couple. There was ample parking (for an extra fee) and the location is amazing. It's hard to get any more central in cap hill. Plenty of great restaurants, local shops, Cal Anderson park, and readily accessible public transit.

The inn hadn't been fully cleaned when I checked in, the previous guests towels and dishes were still there. The hosts did express that they would have sent an extra cleaner had they known, but weren't onsite and communication through the app took awhile. The TV screen was also broken but they stated they would fix that when I reported it.

Great location, in heart of Capital Hill. On a quiet street, but a very short walk to the light rail, Cal Anderson park, and restaurants, entertainment. Is a small house in the back of the property. You have it all to yourself, is quiet and comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and eager to please. The bedroom is on the second level, we are retirees and had no trouble reaching it, but may be an issue for those with mobility problems.

Were quite satisfied, no complaints

Cleaners hadn't been advised to clean the room and we had to wait for the room to be refreshed.
