"A very unsatisfactory and frustrating experience ."

Absolutely nothing - I was ripped off .

Where to start ? Firstly , to list this property as a " Serviced Apartment " is totally false and misleading . No service whatever was provided , except ( after much prompting ) at the end of the week a bag containing clean linen was dumped on the doorstep , for us to change ourselves . No cleaning whatever was offered , and the property had clearly not been properly checked before our arrival . We found the freezer to be a solid block of ice , the washing machine not working properly , the toilet seat broken and the bathroom tap faulty . The management company was very difficult to contact , and singularly unresponsive to the problems reported , although eventually the toilet seat was fixed . Their standard reply was " send us a video , and we will pass on the information " . When I pointed out that I did not get what I paid for , I was rudely rebutted , and my claim for compensation ignored . AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS .

"A great location and size"

It was a lovely good sized apartment for 2. Nicely decorated and in a lovely area.

There were some issues around cleanliness and the toilet seat was broken - however, it was all dealt with swiftly once they were told.

"it’s ok if you don’t need train station, though I wouldn’t choose it again."

it had its own front door with parking and a nice bathroom.

the maintenance was poor, when I arrived a massive picture was on desk, rendering it useless. the maintenance team did come on request but didn’t want to spend time on calls etc, also heating wasn’t working on arrival, so more calls. not very impressed. it is a long way from train station, not walkable, sadly I didn’t have a car with me.didn’t like deposit format, felt very stressed with it, I must have received ten emails about it…couldn’t find the code to get key amongst it all, so another phone call! kettle need descale!

"A complicated check in process"

The village location is great and the team work hard to remedy the internet issues.

The check in process after booking on booking.com is tortuous and antiquated. Lots of extra hoops to jump through and deposits to pay before the keys are released. The helpdesk teams try their best but it's not quick and easy to check in. The property was not ready when we arrived and there were no sheets and the cleaning had been left half finished. The location is good if you like to be in a little village but the neighbours are quite loud as they run a fitness studio in their apartment. The hallway is tired and carpets are all worn through. When we arrived the internet did not work. Although the team, with a few WhatsApp messages helped to fix this the next day. It seems like this is a recurring issue for the building though.
