"A nice house, dampened somewhat by fussy administration."

8.0

Very peaceful location in a tiny charming village. Fasr wifi.

The cleaning fee was very expensive, and yet we were asked to empty all the bins in the house and sort them into plastic buckets outside. The TV came on but the remote did not work, and we could not get the dryer to switch on. The pull cord to enable the shower is not labeled. The cleaning fee is supposedly high because of people bringing pets but perhaps they should pay a surcharge instead of the rest of us paying more even if we don't have pets.

"Nice house but it needs improvements"

6.0

The house and the area are beautiful. It is quiet and a true place to relax and just calm down and enjoy nature. The interior of the house is clean and modern. It is spacious and definitely big enough for 4 people. The furniture is comfortable and looks in a good state. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need in order to cook. it is nice to have separate towels for people to clean their dogs. The little village is beautiful and offers a variety of walks. The local shop offers a good variety of groceries.

It is said that the accommodation is dog friendly which is just partially true. Dogs are not allowed on the upper floor, which is not communicated before. I understand the reason why dogs are not allowed on the furniture and on the bed and I respect that but not to allow dogs on the upper floor is not dog friendly in my mind since some dogs are not used to being left downstairs for the entire night. The garden itself is also not dog friendly, the stairs leading up to the garden are dangerous for their paws and can result in injuries to their claws. So carrying up and down a medium sized or big dog is not what I imagined in a dog friendly accommodation. The garden appears unclean, an empty green house which just looks abandoned and dirty and more like a storage space, (if I don't use it, then just tear it down) and wooden planks with nails sticking out laying around the shed. This is not only not nice to look at but also dangerous for any dog or small child exploring the garden. The two bedrooms show water stains on the ceiling, if I already repair this problem then I also have to paint over it and not just leave it looking dirty. The TV is slow in reacting to the remote which defiantly needs some patience and does not always have internet connection in order to stream films.

"Perfect for hiking North Wales"

9.0

Perfect location for hiking the hills. Lovely cottage with great facilities, very clean and cosy. Host was easy to communicate with.

A couple more towels and loo roll as we stayed for a week with 1 towel and 2 loo rolls. A supply of firewood would have been good beyond the first fire.

"Luxurious, home from home little break."

10.0

This was the best cottage we have stayed in! There was everything you needed right there, all the way down to the fine details such as a sponge and washing up liquid! It has been refurbished to a high standard and the cottage it’s self is just absolutely beautiful, there is a shop only 5 minutes away and there is so much to do in the surrounding area, we were completely spoilt for choice. I love how eco friendly the cottage is and the recycling bags are brilliant.

The only downside was that the village it’s self doesn’t have any phone network but as soon as you leave the village it comes straight back and it didn’t interfere with our sat nav because Deborah had kindly warned us before hand so we could be prepared.
