Villa Java an unique 3 bdr villa overlooking rice paddies

The villa is gorgeous. Beautifully decorated and cool. No need for air conditioning at all.

Kitchen was dirty. Quite a long distance from car to room without cover and it was raining...a lot. Several leaks around that obviously hadn't been fixed for a long period of time. Smell of damp in master bedroom. We requested umbrellas to use during our stay from duty manager that were only provided when we were leaving. Manager also seemed more concerned with what we were doing in the morning before check-out than providing good customer service.

Villa has a long history, inside you can find a beautiful wooden decorations like ceiling or doors. The personnel was very helpful, they asked us about cleaning services and helped us in arranging floating breakfast. The pool is big (comparing to other villas). The villa is located in nice neighborhood, good restaurants, warungs and ATM nearby, very close to the center of Ubud but you avoiding the worst traffic.

Unfortunately, the villa was dirty. A lot of huge cobwebs everywhere, we also found evidence of mice activity. In the kitchen lack of basic equipment, like thrash bags, sponges or paper towel. The doors are lose and falling of the hinges. Due to characteristics of the villa, lack of privacy - thin walls and doors don’t block out the noise. Bad smell in the restrooms.

Its a nice colonial type villa with big bedrooms & bathrooms, a very nice pool & a nice view to the paddy fields. Good wood work inside the villa ... large living & a nice cozy dining area. A little away & tucked in .... you'll need a taxi / bike to get anywhere. Grab taxi pickup & food delivery are easily available. A 15 min taxi ride will take you to the main market / Bali Palace / Monkey palace etc ..... Villa was cleaned everyday by the helper who was very nice & kind.

Flooring probably needs an upgrade in sometime. Would be nice to have some basic salt, pepper, sugar etc when ur just visiting for a few days.

The view was amazing and the villa unique in her style. Perfect for a few nights stay in Ubud.

No space outside around the pool to let our children playing. The plants need to be contained a bit more

Stunning views over the rice fields. The woodwork and architecture is stunning. The place is spacious. Tv with Netflix was also great on rainy day.

Hard for grab drivers to find although talked them through it. Some roof leaks in the rain.

Happy to stay this magnificent spacious villa with stunning paddy field views, about 7-10 mins drive from central Ubud. Very comfortable and sumptuous beds. The bathrooms are beautifully appointed. Outdoor seating was plenty and no disturbance of insects or birds at all! The amenities and appliances were adequate and functional. Sadly I stayed only 2 nites, hardly time to enjoy my time at the villa.

The pool - the lighting appliance on the edge of the pool had a wire attached to it and it ran into the water. Since it was raining a lot we decided not to use it. The light turns on fine and its real pretty at night but we are just cautious.

Everything was perfect. As beautiful as the pictures. Our beds were made every day. Really peaceful, quiet. Do not worry if you don't have a car : you can get taxi (Gojek, Grab) really easily (2-3min) for very very cheap to go anywhere. We stayed for 4 days and were really sad to go. Thank you <3
