Barn Cottage with pre booked use of Indoor Swimming Pool

We stayed at the old barn this weekend just gone for our daughters 8th birthday and surprise day out to longleat we were absolutely chuffed couldn’t fault it. Beautiful location, great communication from the owners and really kind of them to let my husbands parents park their motorhome on site to join in with our daughters birthday celebrations. Would highly recommend staying here we had such a lovely weekend, the kids loved having a late night swim in the pool too.

Very clean and in a great location if quiet is what your looking as it was very peaceful

The cleanliness was poor. There was a large bogie on the wall next to bed in the master bedroom; any decent cleaner would have spotted that. It was revolting & we obviously had to remove it. Around the bunk beds was thick dust on the skirting boards (visible & clearly not be cleaned for a while) there was also dirty marks on the bathroom door upstairs. We felt it was not very clean. The beds were all uncomfortable. The boiler which is so incredibly noisy goes off all night and is right next to your head in the master bedroom. The second room is not really a room, more a nook with a curtain as a door; not great for settling children. Hardly any space for them either.
