Private Pool Villa Retreat NAMU two-bedroom 5unit

Beautiful space. Quiet and comfortable. Helpful staff. Clean and feels quite new. Breakfast is coffee and pastries which were both nice.

Our villa was missing cushions for the pool loungers and staff were unable to sort this so poolside relaxation was a bit uncomfortable but to be fair we were out most of the day so it wasn't a deal breaker for us

De villa was fantastisch! Twee heerlijke slaapkamers met ieder een eigen badkamer, ruime woon- eetkamer en een fantastisch buitenverblijf met zwembad, ligstoelen en zitgedeelte. Het was relatief nieuw en daarom mooi, fris en schoon. Paar minuten met de taxi en je staat in het bruisende centrum van Kuta waar diverse leuke restaurants en winkels te vinden zijn.

Het meedenken met gasten kan nog verbeterd worden. We boekte een 4 persoonshuisje met extra bed voor 5e persoon. Er stond weliswaar een extra bed klaar, maar zonder dekens, en het regelen van ontbijt voor een extra persoon bleek lastig. Het ontbijt zelf viel wat tegen: de keuze bestond voornamelijk uit enkele soorten mini-croissants, een kaneelbroodje en verschillende soorten koffie. Opvallend was dat je voor water moest bijbetalen – geen ramp, maar wel wat vreemd. De wasservice was overigens top!

La petite maison est située dans une petite résidence cela fait un peu village, avec le petit café au centre c’est très sympa et les maisons sont très confortable et très proche du centre 5 minutes en scooter). Nous avons beaucoup aimé ces 2 nuits à Villa Namu. Je recommande cet endroit et cerise sur le gâteau on entend pas la mosquée 🙏

Villa très agréable, meublée avec goût. Personnel très accueillant joignable à toute heure sur WhatsApp.

Le cadre autour de la villa n'est pas très esthétique. Pas de restaurant sur place, obligation de prendre un taxi pour tout ( courses, restaurant..). Literie trop ferme pour moi.

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Return The villa itself was quite beautiful and looked just like in the pictures. However, the location is not ideal – it’s about a 10-minute drive to the center of Kuta, and there are no restaurants or food options within walking distance. You’re basically dependent on a scooter or car to get around. Unfortunately, the staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. On our very first day, they tried to scam us at their own café by charging four times the listed price for a coffee. When we pointed out the price on the menu, they acted confused and didn’t seem interested in correcting it. At the end of our stay, they tried to overcharge us for laundry. They originally told us the cost was 25,000 IDR per kilogram, but then charged us 100,000 IDR, claiming it was 4 kg – which was absolutely not the case. It felt dishonest and left a very bad impression. Another issue was with the electricity. If you use all the air conditioners and a fan at the same time, the power – including water supply – might cut out. They said this was due to the electrical system not being able to handle it. Although they fixed it after some time, it’s definitely worth mentioning, as it affected our comfort. All in all, while the villa looks nice, the service and honesty were really lacking. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
