Arctic City Studio - perfectly located in the main street

Convenient location. Clean. Cozy.

Might be too loud for some people as it’s next to a restaurant that’s open kind of late.

The location is very convenient. A nicely decorated studio. Cozy and spacious. You also have the option to wash your clothes if you ever need to - there’s washing machines and dryer available in the flat.

Hot water could be an issue if you are a group of 2+. The hot water would last around 15 mins and the wait is long for the water to become hot again. Not ideal when you had a long day out having to wait another hour for just showing. My partner ends up having cold shower twice (we waited at least 45 mins between showers but I assume it could take hours for the water to be boiled again). So you might want to have shower at different time if there’s more than just one of you. The shower pressure is good and it’s perfect as long as hot water is available. We found rubbish not fully emptied from bin (some tiny things left over like q-tips / liquid that looks like shower gel). Also some coloured water marks on the sink cupboard. Not the biggest deal but would be great to have fresh bin bag used for new group of customers.

Alley from Storgata was very icy and I almost fell.

This accommodation was just perfect for my husband and I.. Beautifully presented and in a fantastic central location with a supermarket just across the road. It was very well equipped with everything we could possibly have needed. The bed was extremely comfortable.and the shower powerful. The hosts were lovely and checked in with us to make sure we were ok. The chocolates on arrival were such a lovely touch too. We'd highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

There was nothing we didn't like.

I had been excited about visiting Tromso for many years so to finally have the opportunity was wonderful. I had booked previously in a different part of the street but cancelled and booked this property instead as I felt it would have more atmosphere outside during the day. The property was very clean and comfortable, had lovely styling and was bright and cosy. It had everything we needed. Tromso was fantastic and so beautiful.

I was really disappointed when we arrived at the street, after a really long trip to get there, to discover extensive pipe/building work being done. The street outside our building was blocked by a massive hole the length of the block, earth moving machinery, barricades and temporary access in some places. Some businesses were closed others doing their best to stay open. It was a muddy mess and was obviously like that for some time and was going to be for much longer. I understand perfectly that this is beyond the control of the property owner but it was disappointing not to have prior warning since it was going to effect us and our access . I felt it should have been mentioned to us out of curtesy .

This is a beautiful little studio brilliantly positioned in the heart of Tromso. The owners thoughtfully left tea and coffee and some lovely chocolates for us and were very responsive to queries and requests. Facilities were good eg washer and dryer and good kitchen equipment.

Beware booking.com's claim of a separate bedroom - this is a studio not an apartment! It's also up two flights of stairs, which was a bit of a surprise! While the location is great in terms of being close to everywhere, it is quite noisy at night - seagulls and revellers! And a setee or easychairs would have upped the comfort level.

This place was fantastic, very comfy and in a great location. The bed was very comfortable and everything I could possibly need was available, I would recommend this place for sure and if I come back I will for sure book again here!

The location and the furniture.

There is false advertisement about 4 designated free parking spots at the property but there are none. The people staying in the studio are not allowed to park there. The free parking spot was one of the main reasons we booked the studio because we were traveling by car. Now we had to use public parkings and that costed a lot extra. This needs to be removed from the add.
