USUSThe house was as shown in the pictures, clean and comfortable, with amenities for morning coffee and well stocked with utensils etc. The beds were comfortable.
The front stoop leading to the door is very narrow and a bit dangerous. While no one fell off it , it needs to be widened for safety. Also the storm door needs attention.

USUpon pulling up in the driveway, our mouths dropped open. We could not believe that what we were seeing was at the price point that was quoted. Too good to be true, we thought. After we excited the car, our eyes caught the vision of the deer. She looked at us, and we took it as a very good sign of things to come . When we entered through the front door, our mouths dropped even further.. it was STUNNING!! Absolutely gorgeous! It truly felt like home. We settled in and wandered around this VERY spacious home. We played ping pong(horribly, but we laughed the entire time). It was a time we will never forget and always treasure. If our trip had gone as intended, we would have flown home, but I developed a medical issue, and we had to drive. At the time, it felt like such a burden for us to have to make the 16-hour drive. It wasn't until we accidentally stumbled upon this rental that we understood that if circumstances had been different, we would not have been able to have this experience of fun and solace. It literally changed our mindset about the long drive back and made us look at it as an adventure and not a challenge. This place is truly a gem, and you will absolutely NOT be disappointed! Between the house and the hosts, it was perfect! Thank you, Connie, for giving is and others the chance to experience your kindness and caring about what others would want during a stay away from home. You definitely created a true home away from home.
The fact that we couldn't stay longer because we needed to get home was the only thing not to like. There was truly nothing that we didn't like. We would have loved to stay there for days. It absolutely felt like home! They thought of everything, and we will never forget how comfortable, easy, and fun our stay there was. Complete solace, fun, and relaxation.
