Casa Engenho - 3 Bedroom Villa With Beautiful Countryside

Beautiful villa in quiet peaceful location. House is very well equipped. Very clean. Great pool. Comfortable beds. Staff respond quickly to any query and are so accommodating. Our family of six adults loved our stay at Casa Engenho. We will be back again.

Everything was fantastic for us. I would not recommend for people with small children as the staircase inside house is very steep (although there is a child gate).

Villa location and pool are lovely, we had everything we needed via washing machine, kitchen utensils and beds are super comfy.

Not enough towels provided for all guests. Villa was freezing cold when we arrived as been locked up for a while. Paid extra to have heated pool and this again was too cold to use as not switched on until arrival so couldn’t be used unless you like cold water swimming. Managment agency awful toilets blocked even on arrival and these backed up spilling into villa, they did get someone out but still toilet waste on outside of property as this was cleaned up… glad it wasn’t summer could have caused more issues. On our last day electrics had gone so no sockets or heating upstairs and no lighting downstairs…. This left us cold and in darkness. We called management agency 9am in morning and when we returned to villa at 7pm they had still no arrived, we called company and they lied saying problem couldn’t be fixed then said later in evening they actually couldn’t get hold of repair company. We requested they needed to sort some lighting and heating and they said put in a complaint we can’t help and hung up the call. This is not professional and not helpful.
