spacious flat, close to the city centre with scenic views

Location was great, close enough to walk into town 1 cute coffee places nearby and a fantastic view

what can I say , simply spectacular, wonderful place, impressive view, attention and care for guests, perfect. I had an incident I was with my parents and on the way back to London, my father forgot the car key and only remembered it here in London, so I contacted one of the partners, and the response was immediate, it helped me to follow the best and fastest way to get the key back with all the attention and care, I would rate it 10 stars, but as it is only up to 5, certainly all stars. I recommend it 100%, those who rent it will not regret it, on the contrary, they will be surprised.

The location was really good, so easy to walk to the castle, tourist areas and explore other areas of Edinburgh and the view of Arthur’s seat is just amazing. Lovely to wake up to that each morning. The accommodation is comfortable, lots of lovely light and the main room is a real gem. The couple have made a great job with their renovations and the styling of the flat. Lots of fresh smelling towels, flannels was appreciated, as was the hair dryer as I forgot to take one! Likewise, the prompt response from Samantha and Innes regarding the front door lock on the night we arrived was faultless. They answered my call and were with us within 5 minutes. Thank you so much. We enjoyed our stay in your property.

There are a few things to mention but not as criticism, only to enhance and improve your property let. The bathroom looks great, I love the colour, however it really needs to have a mirror for shaving, face washing, teeth brushing etc. There are fantastic mirrors in the bedrooms and the hall but my Husband found shaving difficult without one. We found the shower very impractical with the wood panelling and the over head shower. We could not use it as an overhead shower and had to use it as a hand held shower because of the angle of the bracket, the small space and the fact the shower curtain would not stick to the wall. It was a very claustrophobic experience with the black shower curtain which looks cool and matches the theme but in reality makes the shower feel even more cramped. We were having to wipe down the panelling each time we came out of the shower as it was saturated, which I am sure others will not do for you and therefore we think this is not the most practical and will rot quickly. Maybe a glass shower door could improve this? Likewise the bathroom door, albeit the original door is lovely, not very practical for bathroom privacy! In the kitchen we did not do any cooking but we only saw knives and teaspoons in the property, no forks or spoons or kitchen utensils at all ( I needed some scissors at one point but could not see any.) The beds did not have mattress protectors on them which we feel for a rental property was rather unpleasant and the duvet covers without poppers/ties meant the duvets were difficult to keep inside the covers. I think the duvets should be upgraded personally but the selection of lovely pillows was great and the duvets covers smelt very clean and fresh.
