Diddly Squat Lodge with hot tub, Pendle View Holiday Park

It was perfect for our family get away

Electric tripped a few times but the host did warn us about it

The lodge was spotless with 360-degree amazing views. The hot tub was clean and ready for use on arrival, the hosts were friendly and helpful everytime I messaged and the security deposit was returned quickly. We went to celebrate my sons 18th and partners birthday and visited Freemasons at Wiswell which was just a 5 min drive away. Theres also food outlets just over the road and Clitheroe centre is 10 mins in the car. Sometimes places don't live up to the photos but Didly Squat Lodge exceeded our expectations.

Wow what an amazing find this property was! It far exceeded our expectations and I’d say the pictures on the website didn’t do it justice. It was incredibly clean and had everything we needed for a chilled girls weekend away. The holiday park the lodge sits on is quiet and so serene. In the mornings you’re woken up by the sounds of the local wildlife, including the cute ducks from the lake behind! We were really lucky the weather was incredible the weekend we were there so we really got to enjoy the hot tub and outdoor space. Whilst the park is secluded and peaceful, you’re not far from supermarkets, fast food restaurants and other local amenities. We were really surprised how we couldn’t hear any traffic sounds from the nearby dual carriageway, you completely forget you’re anywhere near one to be honest! Although it was a bit on the pricier side (we booked a long weekend in August so I appreciate it will have been priced accordingly) I couldn’t recommend this lodge enough, I will definitely be looking to book this again in the future.

Clean, comfortable and beautiful surroundings! Seamless check in and check out. I am forever thankful that they provided hair conditioner. We had booked this for the Born Survivor obstacle course. Needless to say I was in need of a hair wash and forgot to pack my own. Thank you for being the hair saver!

Wonderful getaway. Going anywhere by foot ie walking to a shop or pub isn't ideal as it's all dual carriage ways. But no bother just a short drive out for all facilities.

Location was stunning. Peaceful. Beautiful surroundings. Lodge was immaculate and a very high standard. The decor was gorgeous. Very well equipped, high quality accessories, comfy furniture inside and out.

The beds were very soft for our liking but that’s just personal taste. We found the blinds in the bedrooms didn’t block out the light very well so the bedrooms were very light by 5am due to lack of curtains.
