The location being a few minutes down the short street, across a small road down steep steps to the promenade. Parking was always available outside the house.

No hot water on arrival, we had to rely on electric immersion as a boost. Having three children needing washed after a beach day we required two working shower/baths. Owner contacted but unable to fix the hot water fault and not the most obliging or apologetic. We were told to rely on setting the heating and water as we needed it. This meant we would wake with no hot water on a morning or coming home at the end of day out. The shower upstairs is not working, you can still use the bath. The downstairs shower room is at the back of the house meaning you must walk through the utility and kitchen. The downstairs shower is grim. It is corroding and full of mould, I have added photos. The window does not open so the walls also have black mould. The upstairs bathroom window is broken the handle had completely fallen off. We had a cold and draughty bathroom and upstairs floor as a result. The window is stained and old and just neglected, it did not just happen overnight it is aged and well worn. The upstairs bathroom has a sloping ceiling and proved difficult to use the small cabinet mirror and sink for shaving etc. The front bedroom window is also draughty and has no curtains and only a flimsy blind.We were woken each morning at sunrise and found sleeping difficult with the wind rattling and sunlight streaming in. The beds were almost all extremely creaky, although the mattresses were mostly comfortable. The top floor double bed was the best, the single bed seemed like a fold up type with no proper base I believe it was ok for a child. (there are two flights of stairs, the second flight are very steep ) Access to the promenade is excellent in distance but be warned it is by steep steps down a narrow entry way. When down the steps you are at morelli's.It was fine for a family like us without buggies or any walking issues. There were no guidebooks for using the cooker etc and we needed to use google to work this out for the hob.

Great location. Very clean and comfortable

Very spacious, very clean, equipped with everything, nice chairs, location is ideal. Couldn’t fault property in any way. I’ve stayed in a lot of booking.com properties and this was one of the best. My 5 year old wants to stay forever.
