NZOutskirts location was great for us (very handy to bus into city centre but also great for quick car getaway to travel around district). Full facilities so could cook for ourselves, all very clean and spacious. On the several occasions we needed to be in contact with rental agency they were extremely responsive. Good wifi and Netflix.
Quite a few maintenance issues (lights not working properly, blinds not functional, extremely loose kitchen tap) and missing supplies (basics like soap and tea bags). Also a few simple things that would have been very welcome (like providing a coffee table for cups in the lounge, providing a power point or extension lead by one of the beds for the provided bedside lamp to plug into).

The cleanliness was poor. The sheets were slept in with an odour! The outside area filthy no seating available but wouldn't want to with the state of it. Half a toilet roll for a five night stay Landing light doesn't work
GBThe location was ideal for where we wanted to go. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was nice and spacious. The shower cubicle was roomy with an excellent thermostatic mixer shower. The furnishings were adequate.
The kitchen stank of curry. There was no back door key. The back gate was wide open and due to the lack of a back door key, we couldn't lock it. The landing light didn't work and there was no emergency torch. There was no fire blanket or fire extinguisher, and no visible boiler certificate. The front bed quilt needed to be larger to cover 2 single beds butted together. The rear bedroom had trailing power cable. The bathroom had somebody's shower gel etc in the shower. The front room fireplace had someones birthday cards on!

Not having a back door key was a slight problem. Couldn't open empty top key safe on leaving.Left both keys in bottom key safe.

GBStunning house, wonderful modern decor, but kept some of the wonderful features from the past. Warm, cosy, and quiet and everything you could need for a week away from home! Can't fault the communication from the team at Stay With Us. Fabulous! Property is a 10 minute drive to Durham and within easy reach of Darlington, so plenty to see and do on your doorstep if you wish or if you prefer, a tranquil woodland walk is just a 2 minute walk away.
Stairs within the property are fairly steep. It didn't trouble us, but it's worth noting that if you're less nimble on your feet than we are!
