EEJs Cozy 2-Bedroom Apartment in Nailsea

Location suited my purpose. Property was warm clean and comfortable

No lighting on outside stairs , stairs mouldy, bathroom lock, toilet seat broken- these small things if fixed would have made stay perfect

The house was very clean and has everything you might need..

They could have put more papers inside the house and especially into the toilet.. And it's not that close to Bristol City. But we knew that and it's mentioned in the listing.. So all good..

Location was closed from the office.

Cleaning could be better specially the beds. Not really clear instructions how to enter the apartment as the entrance is shared with another apartment number. I was not informed shoe's were not allowed inside but walking on the old carpet was not really nice.

Coker - oven did not work

Great location, the flat was bright and clean. Good hot water supply and we found the beds comfortable.

The curtains were very thin which meant bedrooms were too bright in the morning. Would have been good to have oven trays and an oven mitt, also wine glasses. There was lots of gardening work taking place when we were there which was noisy but thankfully we were out most of the day so it didn’t effect us too much, the garden looks much improved already.

There was a squirrel jumped onto the kitchen window ledge and seemed oblivious to us watching him for ages. The apartment was light and bright. Hot water supply was good. The location is handy being just a 20 minute walk into the centre of town. Nailsea itself is a delight with a very impressive Saturday Market and one of those lovely west country towns where people just start talking to you.

Unfortunately virtually everything. We left definitely of the opinion that this property is being milked for the highest possible return with no regard at all to making it an attractive stay. Firstly OUTSIDE: The immediate vicinity is not attractive. When you see the photo's understand that '55' is really just the top flat to House number 53. Also, there IS NO 'on site' parking because it is impossible to open the gates without wrenching them off the gate post pins. The garden is basically just uncared for gravel beds outside and uncut poor ground cover at the back. INDOORS: The photo's show furniture which simply isn't there now. It's an 2 bedroom apartment for up to 2 couples yet there were only 3 coffee mugs and there was no way of making a cafetiere of coffee. There were no wine glasses. Worst of all there was NO LOCK on the bathroom door. Whilst in there it must be said that the shower was from the 70's/ 80's I reckon, and most the water ran down the side of the shower pipe. There was a really old disability shower seat in there too. I reckon it was an old person's home til lately. All the curtain poles of room corners had cob webs and there was some weird grit like stuff by the kitchen window side that could easily have been swept up. I took a couple of pans out and they were filthy and unwashed. There were not enough cutlery/cooking utensils to consider eating in. There was a weird sign about no shoes on while in the apartment - which we complied with because we figured people lived in the flat below but I've never seen this except indoors at Mosques. Finally watch the steps up to the place - there's irregular risings on the treads which can lead to trips, and it's a long way down. If the landlord wants to take issue with these comments all 3 of us as quests stand by these words.
