Nothing - we couldn’t stay there

We booked November 2024 for a December stay. I received all the confirmations, paid the fee and, the day before arrival, received the door code. Upon arrival, the code would not work. After several failed attempts to reach someone, I was told that we would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $400.00 “security deposit” to have the door code unlocked. NO WHERE in our agreement did it mention any additional fees. It clearly stated that, after we left the property, if there was any damage, we could incur additional charges. We ended up getting a hotel for the night. I called back again and was told that the security deposit could be lowered to an additional $200.00 fee, which I refused. The representative hung upon me. I called again and was told that if I paid an additional $200.00 that my entire fee(s) would be refunded. So, they wanted me to pay additional money to get a refund of what I had already paid. As of this writing, I have no resolution to this issue but I’m not giving up!

Loved our stay in this spacious, cozy apartment! It was spotless, well-decorated, and had all the essentials. Highly recommend.
