The location is great as is the parking

The house needs money spent on it as does the garden and decking. It could be a lot cleaner. Overall beds and sofas need updating as does bedding. Towels have bleach stains on them.

Overall ok, but it definitely needs improving.

Room on GF was mouldy, curtains mouldy. Decking outside is more like a trap... needs repairing. Outside lights not available during summer time so that you don't disturb the neighbours... that's something I never experienced. It really needs some modernisation in places.

My recent stay at Broadway Pool House was nothing short of appalling. To call the experience disappointing would be an understatement; the property was in a disgusting state and clearly neglected. From the outset, the entrance itself was in shambles, with branches and twigs jutting out so far they caught onto clothing—an immediate sign of poor maintenance. Inside, the problems only multiplied. The kitchen table tops were sticky and evidently unclean, showing no signs of proper sanitisation. In the lounge, when my child dropped her toy under the sofa, we found a bra left behind—an utterly revolting discovery that highlights the absence of even basic cleaning standards. The sofas themselves were visibly stained and dirty. The pool, which was supposed to be a highlight, was filthy, with sand inside. When I raised this with the owner, his dismissive and insulting response was that “sand is found in the water when you drink”—a pathetic excuse that shows a complete disregard for guest safety and hygiene. The shower beside the pool was also unusable, flooding the entire hall when turned on—an issue already flagged by previous guests, yet still unresolved. The neglect extended throughout the property. Door handles were broken, leaving rooms in disrepair. The upstairs bathroom shower was unusable because the handle was faulty and would not allow water to flow properly through the shower head. To add to this, in one of the upstairs bedrooms I found a red cap beside the cupboard near a plug socket—clear evidence that no cleaner had properly checked or tidied the room before our arrival. Overall, Broadway Pool House is unfit for guests. The catalogue of issues—from filth and broken fixtures to the owner’s dismissive attitude—demonstrates shocking neglect. The state of the property, combined with the owner’s refusal to take responsibility, makes it an outright disgrace.

Very spacious. Everything you needed was there. The pool and jacuzzi were a great addition.

Property needs some TLC. Oven was filthy and decor a bit shabby in some places. Some parts weren’t clean to a standard expected. However…none of the above affect our stay and it was still enjoyable.

Some of the beds weren't very comfortable and the water pressure wasn't great upstairs so couldn't use more than 1 shower at the same time

The room was spotless, spacious, and had all the comforts I needed. One of the highlights of my trip was the incredible spa experience. The jacuzzi, pool, and sauna were simply perfect—clean, relaxing, and the ideal way to unwind after a long day. The location was great, and the overall atmosphere made my trip unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect getaway. I can’t wait to come back!

The house was spacious, mostly clean. Lots of parking. Great places to see nearby Lots of useful stuff in the kitchen, extra bits like washing up liquid, toilet rolls made available.

The garden front and back needs sorting. The number of the house is difficult to find. The house is called Willow. The previous occupants had left the grill pan filthy and left tin foil over the top, or cleaner did. The pool needs a proper clean. The bins outside need emptying
