Amaca Beach Retreat - Puerto Vallarta South Shore

The staff is exceptional! Also, they work really well with the bar and restaurant next door. The facilities and location are perfect!

This place is paradise! The highlight of our week in Mexico, we felt like we really stumbled on something special! Amaca had everything you want in a Mexican beach holiday but without the crowds, beautiful location, quiet, authentic and friendly local people. The included breakfast was amazing and the beach restaurants had great seafood. Also, if you are a surfer there are uncrowded waves just at your doorstep!

Breakfast was good. We ordered off of the menu at the restaurant next to the hotel because it was Sunday and the hotel did not have breakfast that day. We had Pozole in town the night before at a little place. Lunch during the day was on the beach at the restaurant next door, I think Volar or a name similar.

Toilet was hard to work, but the room was very clean and quite large.

the staff was super welcoming, the place was clean & private, when we discovered that the little restaurant nearby was closed for dinner, the owners pulled out a table, lit a candle & served us our own private dinner- very romantic & they were SO sweet & generous. Absolutely lovely experience from start to finish

The location was great. The staff (Cervacio and Patricia) were so friendly

I wish there was at least a bottle of water in the room.

The location on the private beach was nice. All the food was excellent.

It was a little noisy in the room I had being underneath the dining area. Also there were some repairs being done next to mine that got noisy.

It was very peaceful, relaxing and tranquil. So beautiful! Those is on an island off of Puerto Vallarta, all of the beauty, without all of the tourists. There are no cars here.
