Governor Forbes Inn - Manila City Center

We have stayed there just for a short time before our trip to Banaue from Cubao. What was convinient ist the closeness to the bus station. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was good enough. All in all a good value.

The hotel is at a busy street, it was rather noisy and the room was not so spacious. However, adequate for the price.

I have been traveling with my family on a business trip. So we didn’t need a luxurious apartment or fancy hotel. There are few things I need though and I only book a place when this criteria are fulfilled. It is essential that there is a reliable WiFi. The WiFi did not work at all. It was so slow, that even Google could not be opened! This really made it very hard for me to do my work. The room was not as clean as it is supposed to be. The lavatory was inside the living/bedroom. So you needed to shave or brush your teeth beside your bed while others are watching TV. The hotel accepts credit cards during its booking process but apparently when you arrive at the front desk, they do not accept any form of card payment, only cash! Very inconvenient. I would not recommend this place for anyone. Even though the place is cheap, but so is the room amenities, the service and comfort. By the way, I still have backache because of the very poor quality mattresses.
