Casa Rústica, perto do Castelo de Óbidos

We had a great stay at Casa Rústica. The kitchen is small but very well equipped, allowing you to cook anything you need. The bathroom is functional, and the main room includes a bed and a table for dining indoors. The bed is comfortable (quite firm, but in a good way). Everything was very clean when we arrived, and the host was extremely accommodating. The Wi-Fi, provided via a 4G router, worked well for us. It's possible to walk to Óbidos via a small path, which is really pleasant. Still, I definitely recommend this place!

As mentioned, the nearby road can be noisy.

Beautiful setting - quiet on a fruit farm and yet very close to main attractions.

Would be nice to have a bigger window so don’t feel so closed off inside, however it’s a very cute little stone cottage.

We stayed in three places during our visit to Portugal. This farm house was the only one in a rural location. It was such a pleasure to experience the quiet and the stars. At the same time, we still had easy access to Óbidos and neighboring towns. But the main event here is the gorgeous agrarian landscape: an apple orchard, a long grove of pine trees, rows of pears and Óbidos beyond, Such a pleasure to open the front door and have such a beautiful view to greet you. Vanda and Antônio were very welcoming and great hosts. Loved it here.

The accommodation is just perfect for everyone who looks for a peaceful weekend outside the city. A small house just for you in a very calm area. The owners are great and always available to help or give advice. For those without a car, Óbidos is reachable on foot via a hidden pathway in less than 30 min! Totally recommended :)
