St Luke's Retreat Centre and Guest House

The place was good, I was expecting to see a TV in the room.

Dstv would have been better in the room.

I loved this beautiful old building, beautifully maintained. The staff are all friendly and helpful. My request for a "coffee station" in my room was granted without hesitation. The accommodation is basic and functional, no bells & whistles but adequately met my "sleep over" requirements. Excellent value. I would happily stay there again when I'm next in P.E.

Room E1 is the only room facing the main road and is very noisy at night There is no lift, so, carrying luggage up a flight of 40 stairs to the top floor is challenging. Ask for a room lower down. The bedroom(s) could do with a mirror near the plug to do/dry one's hair. Comfortable and clean but if you are expecting plush furnishings, TV and cute add on's, then St Luke's is not the place for you.

Leider war ich nur eine Nacht dort, denn ich wäre sehr gerne länger geblieben. Was eine tolle Anlage. Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich herzlich und so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kapelle ist wunderschön und die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sehr sauber. Ich möchte unbedingt wiederkommen!

The location is clear and very nice, easy to find. Everything most required was quite near - the shop, the restaurants, even some relaxation. The host provide a safe and guarded place for a car, no need for any worries in that regard. Everything on premises was very clear. Some bottled and purified water and even fresh milk were provided by the host.

There was always noise from outside, because of traffic. The bed was a little shorter than I would like.
