This hotel is the best in Recklinghausen, and we are grateful to the owners and staff for keeping it in such excellent condition. I would also like to mention the restaurant where we celebrated the anniversary of a relative of mine who lives in this town – everything was top-notch: the décor, the food, the service and the speed of service.

We were surprised and even disappointed by the lack of a convenient place to apply make-up, which is so essential for women, especially when they are getting ready for events (as I mentioned, we were there for an anniversary celebration). The make-up mirror in the bathroom is positioned at a height suitable only for basketball players; there is no table-top mirror, nor is there a vanity table with a mirror. We were staying in an exclusive suite and believe that a room of this standard should provide a proper space for women to apply their make-up.

The Staff was very nice, location excellent, restaurant Angels very good.

The Junior Suite we stayed in was not so comfortable. The double bed on one side was under a sloped ceiling. To go out on that side was quiet challenging. The bathroom was big but the shower very small.
