CasaViva - Lovely House in Ancient Genoa

Located in the heart of the city, walking distance to all the main attractions. Very quiet since it's on a small side street. The managing company was responsive and quick to resolve the minor issues we had (were available also outside the official working hours). The only air condition in the living room is doing good job cooling the whole apartment.

Didn't bother us so much, but the living room is relatively dark. On the border between the nice part of the old city and the part where the prostitutes stand, so some might feel uncomfortable walking around (one can easily avoid the specific streets once you get to know the area).

Building is very clean and well lit. Kitchen facilities were very good- hob, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Nicely decorated. Very close to Porto Antico and the subway.

It’s worth noting that this part of Genoa is all narrow streets with few landmarks and it’s very tricky to find your way around. Luckily the host sent very clear instructions with photos - definitely use these!!

Clean and safe location. The staff were friendly and responsive.

Can be a little noisy in the middle of the night when people are talking loudly. If you are not very sensitive to noise, this does not bother you.
