Our hostess was really friendly and accommodating and (like us) a proper afficionado of Jack Russel terriers. Meeting her two lovely dogs was another highlight The accommodation is self contained and very comfortably fitted and with everything we would want and a great place for a peaceful night. The village itself is really well located for visiting Exmoor. Moreover, our hostess has gone to great lengths to provide information and suggestions for first time visitors to the area. This was much appreciated.

The only drawback of this place is that there is only one unit. It would suit a couple or small family but not people needing more than one accommodation.

We were walking the Devon Coast to Coast (Two Moors Way). This is the perfect stop. Comfortable, affordable, ideal.
