Ipoh Town - Octagon Cozy Deluxe Homestay

It's location is very good as it is within walking distance to famous eating places. The unit was clean and comfortable. However there was only one mirror and it was in the bathroom. It costs very little to put one in the room and there is no lack of empty wall space. The door was quite thin, so outside sounds were very audible. Same with the windows as we could hear traffic and loud music from the street below. ( We were on the 15th floor.) Another point to note is that there is an additional charge to pay upon check in, which is the cleaning charge, the amount of which depends on the number of people per unit. For the two of us it was rm30 for two nights. However our rooms were not cleaned during our stay.

Great place to stay. The reception staff was helpful. The accommodation was located near the best chicken rice stores in Ipoh.

The host is very on time. Contacted me a day before. Easy access to carpark. Unit is clean and big. View is awesome. Very convinent location.

Excellent place. Clean pool and immaculate apartment.

The cleanliness and ambience

Not enough chairs to sit around on for 5 pax even though the apartment is for max of 7 guest. No dining table but the apartment has a kitchenette with no microwave. The 3 queen beds were a good feature for a 2 + 1 apartment - clever use of space.
