"Apart from the nice room, I would not recommend A La Carte to Western guests."

The Apartment is very beautiful and all the finishings are brand new. Lovely bathroom. Nice view on the town.

The pool facilities come at an extra cost which I found cheeky of the owner to not disclose. Full payment was immediately asked for 3 minutes after entering the apartment by the staff and only afterwards did we find out that the pool comes at a hefty day rate. More packing space would be nice for a longer stay. A La Carte as a whole is clearly catered towards the local tourists which means limited english and extremely loud Vietnamese guests.
