Historic 'Old Toll House' Shaldon Bridge with Parking

Great location, lovely old property, well equipped

Road can be a little noisy, bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper

The property was characterful and unique, location had amazing views of Shaldon and the river. The beds were very comfortable and the lounge seating also good. The TV (Sky) was very useful. The garden allowed us to sit and take in the sun during the afternoon and was cool in the evenings. All the windows had blinds which allowed light in but no one could look inside the house. The bedding and towels were pristine.

The sink in the bathroom could be a little larger but did the job. The proximity to the road and parking was challenging. The availability of parking may have been lacking because of the fine weather.

Loved the location, amazing view every day and lovely comfortable house. Loved the history of the place too.

Lack of parking nearby, car parks are limited hours so if you want to park the car and walk everywhere you can’t. We had to keep moving the car which was a pain as no street parking anywhere nearby.

Ideal location with beautiful views

Views were gorgeous, lovely patio, nice comfy furnishings and bedding, good coffeemaker, beautiful location between Shaldon and Teignmouth.

It took me a couple days to find the pots so it could be good to have a set of instructions to let guests know where they could find things in your extremely well equipped house, e.g. Vacuum, pots.

The house was amazing and a dream come true for me as I past this house for years as a kid on holiday. So to stay in it was just amazing, my wife and kids loved the way the house was quirky and the views from all the rooms and the garden are gorgeous and we also saw some seals 🦭 from the garden ❤️

I can not think of one thing we didn't like about this house

Everything, well furnished , superb views , excellent communication with host.
