"Excellent place to stay in POrtishead - far nicer than a hotel"

The location on Avon way with views of the channel is excellent. Close to the local shops and a short drive/bus ride to the main high street. The new driveway which guarantees parking outside is spacious and an excellent addition. Beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is excellent.

Can’t think of anything specific- maybe a thin cotton tea towel to save use of the kitchen towels provided for wiping when emptying the dishwasher? Racking the bottom here!!

"Excellent place to stay in Portishead."

Comfortable, clean and spacious. Well decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Ideal location for us visiting both Portishead and Clevedon. Also a short stroll to the Co op and Tesco. We will return - in what we hope is better weather!

Minor point - I would love a teapot!

"newly renovated, well equipped house with friendly and helpful owners."

The owners Roz and David were there to meet us and after a warm welcome gave us a thorough introduction to the house. It was a pleasure to talk with them, and they tried everything to make us feel at home including tips for the evening. The house is very well equipped and newly renovated. In front of the house there is some free public parking space, and we managed to get one right in front of the entrance. We stayed with our 3 almost grown kids and found this a phantastic place to stay.

"Brilliant"

Fabulous house, nice and airy feel. Not to far from the town centre with plenty of places to eat. Brilliant communications throughout, and a lovely couple that own the house. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.
