"Wonderful penthouse in Umhlanga"

The most gorgeous 180 degree views of the beach and the ocean. Large rooms and living spaces. Stunning finishes. Rooftop pool. Aircon. Nespresso machine. Weekday cleaning of the apartment.

There were a few very minor things. Three flights of stairs with no lift (but climbing the stairs helped us stay fit). A noisy drunk neighbor one night (but one can find that anywhere). A tricky small garage to park in (but it was good practicing my parking skills).

Amazing views of the beach ... excellent communication with the host... always tended to any issues we had...

One bedroom does not have an AC and it gets very hot ... the fact that there is no lift and the apartment is on the 3rd floor

Location to beach and very spacious unit

No lift to penthouse. To many stairs to get up with luggage. No deck chairs next to pool. Lounge, dining area and kitchen a bit dated. Kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery needs upgrading.
