"Absolutely unsafe experience – I was threatened, detained, and had to flee for my safety."

This was the worst and most dangerous experience I’ve ever had on Booking.com. On June 6, the host instructed security guards to detain me on the property against my will, effectively threatening to hold me hostage over a payment dispute. I was forced to leave in fear for my safety. The host admitted this on a recorded call. This is not just a bad experience – it was a serious violation of my rights and a criminal-level offense. Booking.com must ban this host immediately. No guest should be put in a situation like this. I am requesting a full refund and filing a police report and formal complaints with the German embassy, US consulate, and Booking.com’s Trust & Safety team.

"Value for money for modern security apartment"

The apartment is well equipped and in a security complex. It is a 2 minute walk from a big shopping mall with lots of restaurants and great play park facilties for children. The apartment was more spacious than I expected. It was good value for money.
