Top Star Saariselkä - Arctic Glass Cubes

Well located, very nicely furnished with thoughtful touches, high tech little flat.

The staff were difficult to communicate. Despite us emailing many times well in advance, then calling, messaging and emailing for the last 2-3 days we only got through them the final hours- and they seemed to be mad at us for trying to reach them. They did reply the final hours and told us how to get there from the airport, tour companies, etc. It was a nice stay because of the property itself, but the staff need to be more responsive.

The view from the cabin was really nice and the scenery was great. It was a short walk to the observation tower. We were able to see the horizon when we arrived. It was also very close to the top of the cable car where we can use the sleds/ski to slide down for free!

The room was a little cramped.

we visited the property this time last year and couldn’t wait to stay again this year! We’ve stayed in numerous places across Saariselkä and Top Star is our favourite! Very well equipped, great views, easy check in - 10/10!

nothing not to like

The place was cosy and beautiful, not far from bars and restaurants, and it was surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

We stayed at the property to be able to enjoy the Northern Lights and were staring at the glass ceiling a lot of the time but the condensation and snow was unfortunately making it hard for us to see properly through the glass. Luckily the glass heaters were making things a bit easier!

Excellent accomodation, with excellent scenes, excellent location and comfortable bed.

Great place, extremely nice view (right above Saariselkä) and possibility to observe everything literally from the bed :) Few hundreds of meters from the hill top of Kaunispää. The room was nice and clean, sauna included. Large panoramatic windows incl. heating to meltdown any snow/ice which would obstruct the view.
