Owls Nest - Peace and Tranquility near Woodbridge & Framlingham in rural Suffolk

Well stocked apartment with plenty of footpaths close by for walks. Very easy to get to Sutton Hoo as well

Peaceful location but only a short drive to towns such as Framlingham & Woodbridge. Lovely hosts.

Comfortable mattress but would be nice to have a larger bed. Steps to front door are steep. Not sure if this is mentioned on the website. If not, it would be a good idea to add. Photo does show steps but hard to assess.

The accommodation came complete with everything we needed (and more), the outdoor space was vast and perfect to take the dog for a walk. The location is also perfect to explore many beautiful villages, beaches and lots of really nice pubs closeby.

Wished we could have stayed longer!

The location of the cottage was very peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom had lots of space for my toiletries and the shower worked very well for me. The trail to walk around the cottage is beautiful. The countryside is very serene and peaceful. There are lots of seats and tables outside for enjoying lunch and the sights and sounds. There are also a couple of benches in the area with the willow tree next to the pond for sitting down. I found all the information I needed in the blue visitors' information book about Otley village, Wickham Market, Woodbridge and Framlingham. These towns were fantastic, they had loads of shops and cafes to stop by. I also liked meeting the horses on the farm in the paddock area and one of the cats that live on the farm. A good number of animals live on the farm which I saw everyday. The mugs and bowls in the cottage were quite cute as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Owl's Nest, it has a very homey feel to it and made me feel very welcome.

Lots of space in the accommodation. Quiet. Peaceful.

Would have preferred a bit more room to shower... larger shower rail/curtain.

Everything you would want from a rural retreat in the heart of Suffolk, there's nothing not to like.

Absolutely loved the quiet rural location deep in the Suffolk countryside. The accommodation is spacious and very well appointed. Perfect for our visit. Hosts are super helpful and on site if you need anything.

We liked everything.

The location is lovely. We wanted a quiet location and this property was perfect for that.

Some of the property was very clean but there were a few things that let it down. The outside staircase is rotten and unsafe in places, one of the windows in the bedroom doesn't open enough because the frame around the wardrobe stops this, one of the lamps in the bedroom has a broken shade, the bathroom needs decorating and the spotlights are very dirty. The secret garden would be lovely to use if only the debris had been cleared. Our opinion is that the property doesn't need a bath as a shower cubicle would be perfect. Small things that would take this property from a two star to a five star.

Our second stay. It was exactly as described: peaceful and tranquil.. Just what we wanted and in very easy travelling distances of places of interest.

The hospitality of the hosts, and comfort of the accommodation were exceptional. We stayed for a week prior to a wedding. The accommodation is about 20 min from Woodbridge, far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area, but close enough that we could buy staples for our stay, We met Chris and Clare on the second day of the stay who were very interested in our story and why we were travelling. One of the farm cats even became close and occupied lap time most evenings.
