JOIVY Delightful 3-bed flat with parking

Loved the location and nearby cafes and restaurants. Also enjoyed the home architecture, kitchen French doors and it was spacious.

I didn’t like that the upstairs toilet didn’t consistently flush. There was missing light bulbs in upstairs shower and one of the bedroom lamps . The house furniture is worn down and was not comfortable. Carpet was worn down and damaged in a few areas. I doubt the ball pit has been cleaned. The cleaning service left the outside garbage cans full so we had to leave our trash bags near the trash cans on the ground. The lawn has not been mowed. The pics advertised are misleading and shows the co-owners well manicured property. The lock box directions were wrong in terms of location. There was a lot of clutter in the cabinets and main entrance area?!

It was a lovely home situated perfectly- close to Edinburgh while being slightly removed from the hustle and bustle. Fabulous for a family!

The lockbox with keys was not accurately described; I had to call to find the lockbox. The Wifi was terrible; the one router in the kitchen did not work and the router in the living room had an extremely week signal. We also could not figure out how to operate the stove and cook eggs in the morning.

The house itself, it’s location, and the neighborhood. Off street parking was a bonus.

These are quite minor points. But since you asked: WIFI connection was weak, inconsistent. Only one bathtub stopper so had to share.

house is very spacious, beds super comfy and house was nice and warm at all times. hosts were very helpful and communicative when we couldn’t connect the wifi, and sorted it out very quickly. lots of facilities around the area, we arrived very late (after midnight) and still managed to find a chipper open for some food.

the en-suite bathroom had no doors, just a curtain to separate from the bedroom. we were in a group of mostly family, but also some friends, so sharing the en-suite bathroom with all the guest was tricky as it was only possible if there was no one in the bedroom.
