Brynglas Cottage with Hot Tub, Anglesey.

Really cosy character cottage in a good location for exploring. Good communication from the host about the property, access, facilities, directions etc etc. Good facilities including a hot tub, BBQ and log burner. Nice outdoor area.

Everything about the property was as expected from a traditional stone built cottage, however, there are small steps within the property and a narrow staircase to the upstairs, where the toilet and bathroom are located. The accessibility section of the description (at the time of visit) gives a false impression that the property has all these facilities on one level.

The cottage is quaint and pretty and well equipped with fresh linen and comfy beds. When the fire is lit in the evening, the cottage feels sooo cozy x

Sadly there was quite a bit of mould in bedrooms on walls, specifically the upstairs gable end and under furniture on the coir carpets in the lounge and master bedroom. The shower head needed a descale, needs the shower screen seals replacing, and the bathroom floor in need of a reseal. Some bare wires in the vestibule with a light fitting lose and evidence of expanding foam in various places. The fridge desperately needed a milk shelf in the door as milk took up needed space in the fridge for fresh food. We did note that leaving food out was a "no no" as we had "visitors" scurrying around which is to be somewhat expected in a cottage of its age, however, on opening the longe coffee table drawers seeking games and playing cards, it was a little disheartening to see "visitors" 💩 and signs of chewing

No dish washer. The hot tub wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4pm Friday

Thoughtful touches like kids books, toys and games and a fabulous welcome basket. Beds and sofas were super comfy, kitchen well stocked. Lots of lovely seating areas to relax inside and out, spacious rooms with beautiful quirky decor. Lovely view from the decked area at the top of the garden, pond with fish and hot tub! Really friendly, helpful hosts.

The cottage was child friendly and the layout worked really well for our toddler. We enjoyed spending time in the garden, using the BBQ and hot tub.

Property is well renovated and well equipped for all needs. Kitchen has plenty of utensils and the communal areas are all comfortable. So many added extras for children including toys, books and games. Lots of lovely touches, including the welcome hamper which was a lovely surprise. Beds are exceptionally comfortable. Outdoor space is fantastic with bbq, outdoor seating and the hot tub is a big bonus! The use of the television streaming services is amazing too. Host is extremely responsive and proactive. Location is perfect for exploring Anglesey.

Road can be quite busy during the day and no designated parking. However there is a lay by opposite which we managed to park in most days.

Pretty cottage, well equipped. Good location. Owner responded quickly to hot tub being off.

The mattresses on the beds are old, thin and uncomfortable! Hot tub not working first day which was really disappointing Found someone’s T shirt on the floor in the front room. No oven gloves.
