Beautiful Home in the centre of Newquay!

The beds were comfortable and appeared freshly made. There was ample crockery and cutlery available for use. The location was excellent, being close to the town and not too far from the beach.

The accommodation wasn't very clean upon arrival. There were out-of-date half packets of bagels and sliced bread in the bread bin, a vape under my son's bed, and a cracker left on the attic stairs. Dust was present on the kitchen sides, particularly around the tea and coffee area, and the pans had stuck-on dirt. One of the two tea towels smelled disgusting and was unusable. The windows were dirty on the outside, and the bathroom windows interior had built-up grime, possibly limescale, with red mold forming in the shower. The paintwork, especially around door frames, needed touching up, and the blinds throughout the house required a deep clean. There were dusty cobwebs across many walls and ceiling corners which I would have been expected to be cleaned prior to our arrival. The attic stairway, which was not shown in the photos, felt creepy and unsettling to our children, particularly as this was just off of their bedroom. The outdoor patio needed refreshing with wood stain and weed killer. Parking was a challenge. Although I understood it was on-road parking, I misinterpreted the accessibility mentioned, as having a blue badge, I expected better parking availability. The neighbour's large campervans took up multiple spaces, making it difficult to park nearby. Oven gloves were not provided, which would have been useful.

The house was really nice and clean and the owner was available and kind. We were 5 of us and we found the place really comfortable and big enough. The parking was just infront of us. Fully furnished and cosy, with a wordeful garden. We will definitely come back again.

We found the bunk bed squeky, but the beds were confortable.

Parking is a bit of an issue. Make sure you leave your ticket for the next day on display the night before. I received a fine at 7.30am. More towels/tea towels would also be good.
