Central - Quiet Sleep for Solo Traveller

Overall, I liked the location — everything is within walking distance. The courtyard is authentic, and the room and common hallway look beautiful. The staff is responsive and ready to help with any issues that arise. Price is good for such a location and room.

During the first shower, there was a clog, and water leaked toward the bed. The issue was resolved by the evening of the next day, after the assistant did an additional cleaning of the shower. The windows in the room do not open, which made it feel like living in a damp well.

I had the worst day in Budapest because of the owner of that apartment, I arrive at 4:00 PM and write to him on WhatsApp, but he answers me 5 hours later, at 9:00 PM, when I was already trying to find a new hotel for myself, because it was already dark and I was left outside with my suitcases in the cold. He answered me 5 hours later, and didn't even apologize for making me wait on the street for so many hours. I was taking a shower in the apartment and all the water from the bathroom was pouring into the room, soaking all the things that were on the floor, the room had no window, and you never know what the weather is like outside. I am terribly dissatisfied and I would not recommend anyone to stay in that apartment.

The room was clean and cozy. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a solo traveler.

The room was small but as expected. However it was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave and kettle!
