The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The location is very central to all Lisbon has to offer. It's close to the metro stations, waterfront and squares.

Très bien situé en plein quartier de l’Alfama, l’appartement est spacieux avec de nombreux rangements et équipements. La décoration est agréable. Les échanges avec l’hôtesse, même à distance, sont très fluides. La récupération des clés se fait aisément.

Nous avons occupé l’appartement plusieurs nuits au mois d’août et l’appartement n’est pas climatisé. On a donc fait rentrer l’air frais le matin et le soir en ouvrant les fenêtres mais le quartier est très animé donc bruyant. Des ventilateurs sont fournis mais qui font également du bruit. Cela ne nous a pas trop dérangés mais peut gêner certaines personnes habituées à la climatisation. Des ventilateurs plus silencieux seraient une bonne alternative.

Beautiful, clean, great location

We had a wonderful stay at this flat in Lisbon. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect – right in the heart of the city, with easy access to all the main sights and attractions. A great base for exploring Lisbon!

- The flat is well located. - The kitchen is really well equipped to cook (appliances, cookware, tableware, etc.). - The appartment is stylish - The host was able to provide a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub - the communication with the host was easy and the check in/check out process was smooth

- there was an electricity incident. The entire building fusebox "burnt". It smelled like smoke and there was black smoke for a bit. Number (1) we were scared and stressed by the incident, with all our belongings and baby's necessities (medecine + specific food) in the building, upstairs. Number 2, we were left without electricity from breakfast time to dinner time. And, again, another 2h the following day. We were only there for 4 full days. Although not our host's fault, it was really tough on us (cant charge phone, can't cook for the baby + ourself, lost food that went bad, etc.). I would have hoped the host would have offered some sort of a refund, as this was a significant portion of our trip. They did not. They actually did not even apologize for what had happened. This is truly disappointing. I heard from neighbors this was not the first time either. - the appartment is not soundproof. If you talk in the kitchen, people in the rooms will hear the conversation. - the 2nd floor without elevator can be tough for certain individuals /day of arrival and departure

We enjoyed and loved staying in this family home. It is warm, welcoming and extremely well provided. The apartment has a lot of character and is elegant and tastefully decorated. The amenities in the apartment were just excellent. Everything we could think of and need was there. Its location is perfect. Walking distance to most attractions and surrounded by eclectic bars and restaurants. Really appreciate the hospitality and the responsiveness to the baby cot requirement. Our little baby loved running around. Manuela was very responsive and accessible. She sent us a bunch of useful recommendations. Thank you.

The AC is only in the main living room and not sufficient to cool the entire apartment. We managed with the fans and leaving the windows open. But as Europe gets warmer each year this would need attention. Also - it should be clear on the listing that there is no lift.
